It is a lovely cotton, and it has lovely simple but striking details (see photos). It zips up the side, and has a great pleated waist with some damage (see condition details). This dress features two super cute pockets on the front and a belted waist. Super simple construction, no shoulder padding, just lovely A line and belted waist! I just cant stop looking at this dress!! ~~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This Vintage French piece measures: 42 inches long 7.5 inches sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff) 36 inch chest 28 inch waist 14 inches across the top back of the shoulders, seam to seam CONDITION : This lovely textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. As stated above, there is damage to the waist. Please see the photograph to get a better idea. If you are handy at sewing, I think this could be an easy fix to just nip the waist back in. There is also a hole in the back of the right shoulder seam which could be repaired. Both pockets are also coming away slightly but again, they could be repaired. Despite its flaws, this dress is in otherwise truly wonderful condition and it is an amazing silhouette if you are looking to be transported right to the 40s! ( E dress 11A) 01/07/2021
