Description: This is an incredible scrapbook from a meticulous recordkeeper. The scrapbook belonged to Claire Dennis, who married Richard Dennis in the 1940s. Richard Dennis was the stepson of famous Boston mayor James Michael Curley, who appears throughout the scrapbook. The scrapbook focuses on the courtship through their honeymoon in the 1940s and a little of 1950. Included is a film labeled “honeymoon” which I have not viewed. The scrapbook includes a detailed honeymoon write up by Claire which would likely match up with the film! They appeared to go on an ocean liner in Bermuda, among other things. Many ticket stubs and passes are included.
