Description: Highly collectible Handcrafted Los Ballesteros Sterling Silver and Black Onyx panel / link bracelet measuring approximately 7 inches long and 16 mm wide. Each panel is made from four 1/2 dome sections attached to a flat sheet of silver with a granulation between each large dome. Attached to the top of each panel is one bezel set black onyx cabochon, average measurement is 13 x 7.5 x 4.5 mm., with a total approximate weight of 22.00 carats. The bracelet weighs approximately 22.17 grams. A wonderful piece to add to your collection of Los Ballesteros handmade jewelry or any other collection of fine handmade jewelry. One of the links has the Los Ballesteros stamp and Hecho En Mexico, circa 1937 to early 1940's. This stamp pre-dates the mandatory Eagle taxation stamp that was put on pieces made in Mexico after 1948. The Los Ballesteros name is well known in Mexico for the style and quality of their jewelry. The company was founded in 1937 in Iguala, Mexico, before moving to Taxco, Mexico in 1941. Their jewelry is highly sought after and collectible. My husbands father brought back many lovely pieces of jewelry, porcelain, clothing, perfumes, and household items to his new bride upon his return from Europe after WWII. Many of the items have gone to family, but there are still many items that need a home, and they are listed here. There are also other items, long held family treasures that also need to find new homes, as we have no room in ours for them.
