Caldwell & Co for West Point's National Championships from 1944 - 1946 This is a charger or plate that displays West Point's shield at the 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock & 9 o'clock The charger commemorates West Point's wins over the Naval Academy during 1944, 1945 & 1946 This particular charger is engraved to Thomas F Hayes "End Undefeated National Champions Seasons 1944-1945-1946" with also the Army & Navy scores displaying Army's winning scores Thomas F Hayes graduated from West Point in 1947 The back of the charger is marked "JE Caldwell & Co" and "Sterling" The diameter of the charger is about 10 1/2" & it weighs 399.9 grams This is an amazing piece!
