Vintage items are not perfect. 1st photo on the left in the first group photo is of a lone sailor, written on the back "Bill Thompson- taken on ship". Approx. 6" x 3.5". I don't know what boat this is, but I think he may have been on the USS New Mexico at some point in time. In this photo, he is on a boat (he has "Tanker Ship?" on the back of the photo) and is a First Class Gunner's Mate. (I believe)Small photo, approx. 2.75" x 3.75". Unknown friend of "Bill Thompson", in unknown location. Remnants of black paper on the back from being glued into a photo album. RPPC of 3 men, the one on the far right is "Bill Thompson", and he is a First Class Petty Officer, as per the Insignia, I believe. The man in the middle is a Chief Electrician Mate I believe. The back of the photo postcard has a lot of figures, with addition and subtraction. Has "Bill Thompson" in ink across the middle, and "Boy, look at those bow legs, don;t I look tough, how you like those stripes." Written in pencil.Approx. 3.5" x 5.5".CONDITION:Photos may have creases, or bends, one photo has paper remnants on the back from being pasted in a photo album, two of them have writing on the back, and one is faded.
