Description: Up for auction is a beautiful cover from a person named Zbigniew Pialkowski in the Munich 68 sub camp of the concentration camp in Dachau Germany and was sent to a person in Lemberg Poland. Note this was not sent from the main camp but from a smaller sub camp, mail from sub camps is rarer because not all sub camps allowed prisoners to send or receive mail. Dachau was the first nazi concentration camp and was the model on which all other concentration camps were built. Priced to sell. Postmarked February 24, 1944. What is unusual about this cover is it has the preprinted envelope issued by concentration camp officials along with the censorship markings. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in excellent condition but has a chunk missing. Shipping will be a flat $4.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail with insurance. Overseas airmail shipping is $14.00. Insurance and registered mail fees included. Questions?
