It has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally. The coverage area extends from Pottstown to Trenton, south to the Delaware state line, including Chester, Norristown, Bristol, Bryn Mawr, Ardmore, Camden, Upper Darby, and Elkins Park. The index includes golf and country clubs, airports, yacht clubs, and points of interest. The map was distributed by Gulf in 1947 and is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 7-423684-2. On the reverse side there's a map of central Philadelphia showing streets, railroads, public buildings, and parks. The artwork on the front cover shows Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed, July 4, 1776. On the back cover there's a view of three uniformed attendants servicing a car at a Gulf gas station. Condition: This map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing.
