The hand painted figure inside the toy is revealed once the flip switch on the bottom transforms our hardtop into a Cabrio. It is a transformer! The car appears to based loosely on Germany’s KDF Car for the people (pre-volkswagen). Later incarnations which became model 359 officially change the grill over to a Volkswagen. CKO or Georg Kellerman and Company was based out of Nuremberg and ran from 1910 to about 1979. He ws a former Karl Bub employee and then founded his own company.
