Description: Travel back in time with this King H.N. White American Standard cornet. It is a repair project. The serial number 51,029 is stamped on the middle valve, indicating it was made in about 1950. "American Standard, Made by King Craftsmen, The H.N. White Co. Cleveland, O" is stamped on the front of the bell. The finish has been completely worn off on the majority of the trumpet. The water key cork is old and worn. The second piston is stuck. The finish on the first and third pistons is surprisingly good. It comes with an old Conn 4 mouthpiece. It comes with a case that has a faded four-leaf clover and stickers on the side. One of the case latches does not work. The other latch, handle, and hinges work. It's an old cornet, that could use some servicing. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new stout cardboard instrument box.
