Description: This is a genuine 1950s Boucheron Solid 18K Gold watch.French Eagle head hallmark (18K) on stem side of case. Sapphire on stem.ETHIC W.C. Switzerland 17 Jewel movement. Serial Number 85054 as marked.Case measures 24 mm square from the rear. Depth/Thickness of case is 5mm, 7mm at center of convex crystal. Claudine SABLIER PAQUET, Département Patrimoine at Boucheron Place Vendôme, told us about 10 years ago that it is a special order, possibly made in 1954 due to the serial number- but she cannot say with absolute certainty when it was made. Refurbished and restored to new condition at Boucheron Paris in the 1990s. Returned to us in a new Boucheron box with a proper new Boucheron band. Not ever worn since restoration. Appraised at over 12,000 USD by Boucheron Beverly Hills in 2013.We are waiting for an updated appraisal, but are willing to offer it at 9,900 USD. Condition is exactly as depicted in the photos.
