Description: Beautiful and meaningful 1950’s piece from Coro. This unique piece features a bubble with a mustard seed suspended within. With a bow on too, this brooch combines beauty and faith in one. The brooch is accompanied by earrings and a pendant that I believe are also Coro but are unsigned. All were purchased together from the same estate. Mustard Seed jewelry was very popular in the 1950s. The mustard seed is a Sign of Faith and many ladies and younger girls wore mustard seed jewelry as a symbol of their religious faith. (This is taken from Matthew 17:20-21 - "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there', and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Bow measures 1 1/4" wide and the pin including the mustard seed globe is 1 1/2" long. It has a safety clasp on the back. Please see all photos and ask any questions.
