Description: 1950'S ELEYO LIGHT-UP, IT GLOWS YO-YO in Original Box - Red/Red Color: DESCRIPTION: Plastic, embossed seal, tournament shape. This is the original Eleyo. It reads "It Glows" on the box, has "Pat. No. 375741" on both the box and the yo-yo. There are light bulbs and AA battery attachments on the inside of both halves. The string is fixed into the yo-yo and has a thin brass finger ring on the end of the string. This is considered one of the more collectible of the Light-up yo-yos. Diameter 2 1/2", Width 1 3/4", Gap 1/8", Weight 55 grams, with 2-batteries 105 grams. There was a second edition released in 1967 that said "Nighter Yo-Yo" on the box. CONDITION: Excellent, Unused outstanding eye appeal, displays well, complete and fully readable seal. Does it light up? There's no reason it shouldn't light up that I can see, however I put batteries in it, and it does not light up. Perhaps someone with some electrical understanding could give it a little attention and get it to light up. I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased.
