Work started on world’s largest office building, January 12, 1932. 89,400 lbs. of dynamite used to excavate over 100,000 cubic yards of earth and rock. Seventy stories, 853 feet high afford a 50-mile radius view; comprise 74 elevators with photo-electric eye, 5804 windows, 19,000 cubic feet of Indiana limestone, 3,400,000 feet of wire and cable, 11,210,000 bricks.” CONDITION: Unused; never mailed.
