Description: Vintage , 1950s, strapless black taffeta dress with velvet trim by Rembrandt. Tiers of gathered taffeta with rows of velvet in between. Black velvet belt says Rembrandt. No tags in dress. Very few flaws-seam at zipper needs a few stitches, belt stitching at buckle is gone but it works ok the way it is, some of the stays in the bodice are bent or broken. There are a couple of snaps inside the bodice, I’m thinking maybe there was a detachable strap ? Side metal zipper. Shown on my mannequin 34 1/2”/ 26”/36” My measurements taken flat Bust 16 inches plus cup room Waist 13 1/2 inches Total length measuring from top of zipper to edge 36 1/2 inches Belt is just under 3/4 inches wide Shortest hole 26 inches,longest 29 inches Shown with a crinoline underneath, not included.
