Good, USN, deputy chief of Naval Operation for Logistics returns the salute of Lieutenant R. D. Mitchell, USN, while Admiral Good, was on an inspection tour of the Algiers Naval Station. Accompanying Admiral Good was Captain Francis Hartt Gardner, (partly hidden behind Admiral Good) commanding officer of the Algiers Naval Station. Admiral Good was inspecting the station and it's personnel in connection with a proposed transfer of Eighth Naval District headquarters, from the Federal Building, to the Naval Station.
