They started producing the posters in 1910 and almost every year added players or changed some poses. Its a daunting set to collect but unique in many ways. The posters make for vivid , eye catching display pieces. Over the years The Babe was offered multi times. His original M114 was in 1916 and was a pitching pose. Up until 1953 he had approx. 5-6 different poses, some were available for a number of years, some for shorter periods... BB Magazine as a rule updated when their supply of posters ran out. All of those posters through 1953 carried the New York designation as the magazine's location. In 1954 they moved to Washington D.C. That address is only on posters from '54- '57 and as sales diminished those posters became extremely hard to find. This Ruth is rare, vintage, and dramatic. .
