Description: An original, 1954 painted-lash, straight leg walking Ginny. This Ginny has been played with but clean with an original dark brown braided wig with thick braids and straight seam. Her wig is well-attached with some glue residue near her left ear. Her dark brown sleep-eyes are stuck open. Painted lashes and eyebrows are warm medium brown. She has pink cheeks and bright rosy lips. Clothing— (2pc outfit, dress & coat have been played-with and are lightly soiled from being handled. No Odors. See below for more details. The green velvet coat is worn.) 1 complete 1954 For Rain or Shine #29 outfit consisting of a pair of striped denim overalls and a blue onesy with a collar in matching striped denim. This outfit has been previously washed as the Medford Mass tag inside the onesy is frayed.No stains or marks, very light soil from handling. The hook/eye fastener on the overalls needs to be reattached. 1 green and white, Medford Mass tagged dress with lace trim and an attached bouquet of silk flowers. The hook/eye is securely attached at the waist. Fabric is crisp and clean except for 2 spots of rust near the eye portion of the fastener. (there are no panties or bloomers with this dress.) I have added a replacement net petticoat. 1 1954 #383 coat in green velvet with white rabbit fur at its collar. Played with and worn. Good hook/eye fastener. 2 pair (one in green, one in hard-to-find pink) plastic side-button shoes with good knobs and straps. Each shoe is marked Ginny on the bottom and each has the correct flat soles that were only sold in 1954. 3 pair of vintage nylon socks. 1 clean pair in pink, 1 discolored pair in white, and 1 clean but frayed pair in white 1 "Hi I'm Ginny' hard paper bracelet tag, vintage with oval center. No tears, but paper is very stiff. 1 Stuffed Teddy Bear doll toy ~4" tall, stuffed fuzzy fabric, with a ribbon collar and an elastic loop added so Ginny can hold him. In addition to the doll, the clothing and the teddy bear, this auction includes a small metal doll stand and a small clear plastic display case.. Free shipping via USPS Ground Advantage.
