This will be one of the largest and best condition collections to hit the market since the Joe Soucy collection from several years ago. In fact, quite a few of these boxes were purchased in that auction. I've also got a ton of AFA graded action figures and some very cool odds and ends. I’ll combine shipping on multiple wins to help you save money. Up for auction is a beautiful and rare CLOSED DOOR BARN dome lunchbox and thermos set produced by American Thermos in 1957. The lunchbox is MINT with just a few flaws - worn feet and scratches on the bottom and three slight scratches and a tad bit of edge wear on the back near the middle latch. The thermos is GEM MINT and UNUSED (see pics of that beauty). It has a metal stand off that the thermos bottle fits inside of. Never seen that, though it looks like it came from the factory and it's mint and clean like the inside of the thermos. It even has the original paper wrap around the thermos. Latches and handle hardware are very clean and shiny. Inside is pretty white with some slight rubs. It even has the original thermos paperwork. The best part is that this box is 100% guaranteed to have come from the Joe Soucy collection that was auctioned off by Toyscout1 in 2019 and comes with the certificates signed by the Toy Scout himself, Joel Magee. That means this was one of the best Closed Door Barn dome boxes that Joe ever came across. This box displays beautifully and rightfully belongs in a high end box or farm collection.
