Description: 1957-1958 Borg Warner T10 4 Speed close ratio transmission, fully restored original with new old stock GM gears, date code matched parts with a cast iron main case foundry cast dated 6-17 (1957) and assembled on July 18th (1957), 5-10-57 tail housing, the side cover is a mint original that was never cracked or repaired (unusual and rare), very nice case and authentic transmission, original fasteners and drain plugs, new major overhaul kit, new synchronizers, NOS GM front bearing retainer and new cluster pin, upgraded with torque lock sliders and splined reverse gears, a high quality transmission that was carefully assembled by 4 Speed expert Ed Hartnett of Philadelphia who is a veteran with the experience of assembling thousands of 4 speeds, this transmission was originally installed in a late 57' or early 58' model year car since early 58's utilized carry over parts and transmissions for the first 90-120 or so days of the new model year until inventories were depleted towards the end of the 1957 calendar year, this is one of the first thousand 4 speeds ever manufactured by GM and a very hard to find transmission, please contact me with any questions or specific needs, Carlisle/Hershey delivery possible or pickup in addition to shipping, thanks looking and please check out the other items in my eBay store.
