Description: Mid 20th C. American Artist John Sweeney Signed & Dated, on lower right, this Sole, Windswept Beach Bungalow Landscape. It is an Original Watercolor on paper, affixed to a stiff board. Depicted is an aged beach bungalow, now almost a shack. It is faded red with a weathered wood door and a steep pitched roofline with a chimney, at rear. The remnants of what used to be a wood fence stand up from the sand and waving beachgrasses. Hazy clouds allow the blue sky to peek through here and there.1 1/8" Wide Beige Scoop moulding with a linear design (off-white) around the inside and glass are included in this listing.Inside/Image opening measures 13 1/2 X 21 1/2 and is in Fair to Good condition w/ yellowish discoloration, mostly at left. Outside measure of the frame is 15 3/4 X 23 1/3 and is Good condition.Please carefully examine all images for condition.Apologies for glare or reflection in images due to photographing under glass.
