Description: 1959 Topps #86 Bob Keegan Chicago White Sox PSA 6.5 EX-MT+ This is a mid-level PSA 6.5 Bob Keegan card with nice corners, straight edges, and centering measuring 40/60 (top bottom) in a clean, clear slab. New slab Nice centering Keegan pitched six years in the majors after signing with the Yankees in ‘46. While in the minors, the Yankees sold Keegan to Syracuse, who in turn sold Keegan to the White Sox, where he made his debut in the majors as a 32 year old rookie. He had two decent years with the White Sox, elected an All Star in his second year, going 16-9 with a 3.09 ERA for the year. He quickly then began to feel the effects of his age, as his production fell, and he eventually left the game in 1960 eleven days shy of his 38 years, while playing minor league ball in his last two seasons.
