1959 Topps Baseball COMPLETE SET (572) with PSA / BVG / SGC graded (5.5-7) Nice!

Description: 1959 Topps Baseball Complete Set This is a complete set of 1959 Topps baseball trading cards, made up of 572 cards. All of the cards are either graded or in card sleeves within toploaders. This is is a difficult set to put together, particularly with the high numbers. I have been collecting for many years, and this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, 1959 sets that I have seen. Many of the cards look like they did when they came out of the pack in 1959. A good number of the stars are graded, with all graded cards between 5.5 and 7. The graded star cards are as follows: #10 Mickey Mantle - PSA 6 (EX-MT) #40 Warren Spahn - BVG 5.5 (EXCELLENT+) #50 Willie Mays - BVG 7 (NEAR MINT) #180 Yogi Berra - PSA 6 (EX-MT) #380 Hank Aaron - BVG 6 (EX-MT) #478 Bob Clemente - SGC 6 (EX/NM) #564 Mickey Mantle - BVG 5.5 (EXCELLENT+) These grades are representative of the rest of the set. I am not a professional grader, but I did my best to collect cards that were excellent or above by focusing on sharp corners and no creases. I spent a lot of time and money replacing cards that did not meet these standards. The Bob Gibson Rookie is very nice with sharp corners and no creases. I have included pictures of the star cards so you can judge for yourself, including multiple pictures of the Gibson card. If there is an issue with any of the cards in the set I would say that some cards are not centered. If you are considering purchasing this set, you know that centering is a Topps printing issue with their earlier products. This is a great set for vintage baseball card collectors. You will have a tough time finding or putting together a nicer 1959 Topps baseball set. I bought plenty of 1959 Topps cards on eBay advertised as "near mint" that did not end up make the cut when putting this set together.
