1963 OMEGA Constellation Black PIE PAN Gilt dial with 14k Solid Gold Case

Description: Up for sale is a vintage Omega constellation with 14k gold case. Notably this watch features a very rare black gilt dial. While the upper lacquer layer is separating from the dial in a few spots, I have been told that it is possible for a specialized dial restorer to remove and reapply the lacquer while preserving the original dial. I have held onto the watch with that intention, but have not had the time to get around to it. However the watch is attractive as is and the lacquer seems generally stable. Otherwise, the watch in nice shape. The edges have become a little less defined with age but are still good and consistent with average or average plus condition watches of this model and case material. It also seems to feature the original, but slightly less common crown for this reference. It is a nice example with good potential and is being passed on in the same condition i bought it in. I'm bummed I won't be able to see this one completed. Additionally service history is unknown so one is recommend for long term reliability.
