Postage stamps dated 1 May 1964 to front wrap, evidence of glue staining, some tape remaining, losses to spine ends. A street address of a Mrs Mitchell in red pen has been crossed out. Internally bright though page block is loosening. 'H. Williamson Copy' in blue ink to the half title, possibly in the hand of Richard Calvert Williamson. Ann Quin (19361973) was a British writer known for her experimental and avantgarde style, publishing four novels before her death at the age of thirtyseven.
