Description: 1964 Bailiwick Of Jersey 1/4th One Fourth Of A Shilling Brass Coin Its in a very good condition and has been lightly polished to enhance its appearance. Equivallent to the old 3d or thrupenny bit, as they were referred to, of tge same value. It was valued 3 pence or one fourth of a shilling and was equivallent to one eightieth of a pound when the pound had 240 pence before decimalusation. Obverse: Queen's portrate wearing the Crown and Neclace surrounded by the lettering QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND in a circle formation. Reverse: Shield with 3 lions in the centre with the year 1964 written with 19 on the lhe left and 64 on the right. The shield is surrounded by a full circle of the writing. In the top semi-circle it states BAILIWICK OF JERSEY and in the bottom semicircle shape it states ONE FOURTH OF A SHILLING. Dispatched within 1 working day via 1st Class Royal Mail postage.
