Both films are in COLOR and show each league's greatest players in action during the 1965 season. The AFL film was produced by Tel Ra and narrated by Jim Leaming. Presented by Miller High Life beer, the AFL film shows the outstanding plays and players of each team in order of final standing from bottom to top, beginning with the Denver Broncos and climaxing with the '65 AFL Champion Buffalo Bills. Many great old ballparks and now defunct stadiums are shown, such as Rice Stadium, Balboa Stadium, Municipal Stadium and Fenway Park. Each team is shown in order as listed below, with team record and named players shown in action as follows: Broncos (4-10) - QB's Mickey Slaughter and John McCormick, Odell Barry, Bob Scarpitto, rookie Nemiah Wilson, Abner Haynes, Lionel Taylor, Jacky Lee and Cookie Gilchrist. Oilers (4-10) - Don Trull, Willie Frazier, Ode Burrell, George Blanda, Gary Cutsinger, Bob McLeod, Dick Compton and Pete Jaquess. By contrast, the 1965 NFL highlight film was produced by NFL films, sponsored by Four Roses whiskey and narrated by Jack Whitaker. At the beginning, action shots of the NFL's biggest stars are shown and Jim Brown, Pete Retzlaff, Bart Starr, Willie Davis, Bob Lilly, Tommy Mason, Sonny Randle, Roger Brown, Tucker Frederickson, Gary Ballman, Fran Tarkenton, Paul Krause, Deacon Jones, Johnny Unitas and Gale Sayers are all featured during the introduction. The top players of the season are then shown in action, by team and in order as follows: Browns (11-3) - Jim Brown, Gary Collins, Walt Roberts and Leroy Kelly.
