Description: 1965 SAN FRANCISCO CABLE CAR WATERCOLOR SPOKANE ARTIST HERB HESS 12x10 approx- From the estate of a big west coast art Collector==Mid century watercolor by Spokane artist Herb Hess (b.1898 - 1996). Hess primarily painted scenes of his native Washington state, but was attracted to San Francisco as a subject too. He preferred quiet and contemplative subjects and this one, despite being of a busy hilltop and a cable car, has a stillness about it. The image is from the Hyde-Powell line with the Bay Bridge in the background. The image and original frame are in very good condition. It has not been examined out of the frame.===Sent carefully and quickly from west coast USA seller. You certainly know more about this item than I do. The universe brought you here for a reason. Give it a go.Thanks, Sally fine print- ebay rules and regulations
