It is dated October 30 - December 14, 1966. The ACL served the US Atlantic Coast and Southeast from Virginia to Florida, including the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. It connected at Richmond with the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad (RF&P), which pulled ACL passenger trains to/from Washington, DC; at Washington the trains connected with northeastern lines, where its primary connection was the Pennsylvania Railroad into New York and New England. The ACL and its connecting lines actively competed with the Seaboard Air Line/Baltimore & Ohio partnership to run some of the most famous "Florida" trains. Included in this roster were such "named" ACL trains as the East Coast Champion, West Coast Champion, Florida Special, Gulf Coast Special, the Palmetto, and the Everglades. This timetable contains schedules for all passenger trains operated by the ACL, both the "named" trains and local/non-named runs. Listings are by train number, with arrival/departure times for the stations served. Equipment manifests are provided for the primary routes. There are fare schedules for both coach and pullman services. There is a fare schedule and a great 2-page centerpage map showing the ACL's service area and trackage, as well as some neat period-advertising. This timetable measures appx 9x4 inches unopened and contains 20 pages. The cover is a medium-weight semi-glossy paper, and the content pages are a matte medium-grade paper stock. It appears to have had little if any use and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION - no rips or tears, no writing or markings, no spills or smears - and the binding is secure with all pages in place, unusual for something now 45+ years old!! A great collectible for any ACL fan. Get images that make Supersized seem small.Showcase your items with Auctiva's Listing Templates! THE simple solution for eBay sellers.
