Power Steering Power Brakes Factory Air Conditioning Pony Interior You are looking at a nice, very solid, nicely optioned, 1966 Ford Mustang coupe. This Mustang received an extremely extensive and decent restoration approximately six or seven years ago. It is a Florida vehicle and was last registered and titled in 2019 so it’s been sitting for a few years. While not perfect, and needing a few things, this Mustang wouldn’t take much to have it on the road, and ready for the local shows. It currently runs and drives, but will need a little bit of work and should be gone over in general From sitting. Below, I will go over every aspect of this Mustang in detail, so everyone can understand its current condition, all the work that’s been done to it from the older restoration, and what it it still needs.This 1966 Ford Mustang started life as a nicely equipped Y color code silver blue car, with 289 V8, C-4 automatic transmission, power, steering, power, drum, brakes, pony interior package, floor, console, and factory air conditioning.This car was recently brought up from Florida and has not seen winter weather. All of the sheet metal appears to be original very clean and rust free every place except for the passenger side floor, possibly rusted from air conditioning, dripping or water dripping over the years. This is an easy fix for even an amateur welder. All of the other sheet metal, floor pans, quarter panels, front frame, rails, and rear frame rails, rust, free, and excellent condition. (If interested in having our restoration facility weld in our replacement panel on the passenger floor, Please let us know and we can quote a special price for the parts and labor)During the older restoration, the Mustang was refinished in its original silver blue. The paint is driver quality and still presents quite well with with normal imperfections consistent with an older paint job. All the Glass is good and includes a brand new windshield that was installed at the time of restoration. Being from Florida, all of the windows have been tinted. The interior of the Mustang was completely restored during the restoration and everything still looks very good.. all of the electrical components work except for the radio and air conditioning. During the older restoration an absolute ton of new parts were used and I will list everything below. All of the new parts, that were used are still in “ like new” condition. On the exterior brand, new front and rear bumpers, all emblems, moldings, mirrors, backup lights, and parking lights, nice original used 1966 Mustang hubcaps. On the interior, at the time of restoration, brand, new headliner, brand new Seat foam and Upholstery, brand, new carpeting, brand, new pony, woodgrain, steering wheel, brand, new pony, door panels, brand, new handles, new instrument bezel, new TMI aftermarket console with cupholders that is designed to fit over original console, new package tray, new kick panels with speakers, new rear deck, speakers, new sill plates, and much of the weatherstripping was new. In the trunk, New, spare tire cover, and trunk mat. Overall, an outstanding driver quality Mustang needing essentially passenger side floor pan, patch panel, probably a tuneup from sitting, and you have yourself an excellent, solid, and nicely optioned, classic 1966 Ford Mustang.
