Each individual part in this tachometer is new and the tachometer has been calibrated properly using a digital square wave generator. There is a simple 3 wire hookup and the unit will install in your dash cluster without any modifications should you or any future owner desire to change back to the original mechanical unit. In addition, there is a setting that will make the tach operable with LS engines! Great for retro rods or cars that have no tach drive generator or distributor.
