Description: This listing is for an underground Philadelphia newspaper from the 1970s. We found it at a flea market in South Jersey and can't find any info about it anywhere. It was called "Rap" for Radical Professionals and bills itself as "the hard-core alternative. " Edited by John Zeh and it has a lot of hand written notes and corrections on the last page by the editor. There are articles about the Revolutionary People's Constitutional Convention, Huey P. Lewis, Anarchy, Armchair Guerilla and more. Some of the reporters and authors are Sherman Chickering, Daniel Grotta, Susan Thomas, Rick Leibert and Mitch Gilbert. There are cartoons, nude paperdolls of a hashish seller and a rock musician and comics too.We are wondering if this was ever published and circulated. The condition is fair. There is a lot of chipping and tearing along the edges and at the creases. Check my listings for more antique and vintage ephemera and books.
