Description: This is a Maestro PS-1A phase shifter from the 1970s. This is the same model used by Alex Lifeson of Rush during the early years including "All The Worlds A Stage". The effect sounds great and sounds much bigger than a small pedal. Reminds me of a Univibe in that the effect sounds huge. Comes with a footswitch that was made by Stromer Mutroniks out of New York. He had enough NOS lamps to build three units. These are the same lamps as in the original Maestro footswitch. See the video for a demo. Everything works properly. Overall it is in excellent condition. There are a few paint scraps along the edges and on the bottom but overall excellent condition. The green Slow button looks a bit crooked but works fine. The molex connector that connects the footswitch to the unit doesn't snap in and I didn't want to force it. It was never an issue for me playing at home but if you gig, you might have to secure it with tape or a tie-down on a pedal board. These were designed by Tom Oberheim and built by Oberheim Electronics and are still one of the best sounding phase shifters ever made.
