1972 GI Joe Mobile Support Vehicle Adventure Team Set EXIB Complete Rare Big ATV

Description: I just had the pleasure (sadly), of being the first person to see the incredible game collection of a gentleman in NE PA. He was a lifetime game player/collector. Unfortunately, he very recently passed away, leaving his wife to deal with several rooms in their house full of board games. I will be listing the games I purchased here on eBay over the next several weeks and months. He kept everything in amazing condition. Most games are complete and unplayed, some are sealed, and some have been carefully played. He went so far as to make his own pieces, cards, and or counters in some cases, to keep the game in pristine condition. I will do my best to describe the condition and note any issues on these rarer games. Here is a vintage Hasbro GI Joe toy, from 1972. This is the Adventure Team Mobile Support Vehicle, made to Search for the radioactive satellite. This thing is huge. This is when toys were cool, and did stuff, and were sturdy. This toy is complete, as far as I can tell. It has the 2 piece ATV, 2 flying reconnaisssance cameras, radioactive satellite, satellite detector, ladder, chair, searchlight and radar dish, and a pair of binoculars. Some of the decals have fallen off, but they are here and in good shape. The truck itself is excellent to near mint. There is almost no wear at all, all of the doors open and close as they should. Everything slides as it should. The front and rear sections link together and have the lock in place. The clean canopy is almost perfect, there is one small mark. The camera launcher winds up and launches just fine. The battery compartment did have a leak and one battery terminal is snapped off. It can be fixed or you can just use some aluminum foil between the battery and the terminal. I tried batteries and could not get the light or motor to work. It does not have the instruction sheet. This is a very clean toy that displays like it did 50 years ago. The box has the insert which is rare, and does have lots of masking tape, but is straight and square and looks good.
