Description: PLEASE READ! Here's another beauty from Johnny Blazer's Buried Treasures! This is the Hot Wheels Redline Mercedes-Benz C-111 released in 1972. This is the Hong Kong version. This car was a basketcase when I got is so I stripped the paint off and polished it. I didn't zinc plate it as I feel it looks more authentic this way, however some metal defects will show through. Then I repainted it in a beautiful spectraflame hot pink. The paint is gorgeous, any imperfections are due to the lighting. It was put back together with my version of repo rivets. Here's the parts list: Glass : original (some scuffs)Interior: original white Axles: original straightened Wheels: repo caps Gullwing Doors: original (good hinges) The base was rough so I had to repaint that as well. This car was never made in this color, but looking at it you'll wonder why not? It will look gorgeous in your rainbow collection so DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY!
