ORIGINAL 1970'S (AMERICAN MADE) FACTORY CADILLAC PARTS~~ ** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent (A/A-), Excellent (A). Driver Grade B levels (Driver Grade Level) = Average condition/fair condition (B-, B) / Good shape (B+) / Pretty Good (B++). All "B" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade.. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal, not paint (if applicable). COMPATABILITY: 1967-1978 (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD rims ONLY). ITEM DETAILS: This auction is for ONE wheel cover, rated at GRADE "A " (which is pretty prime! The color is the exceptionally beautiful metallic "Crimson Red", which was only used in 1977. This cover is completely original and has never been repainted. PHYSICAL CONDITION: Top of the line "A" Grade wheel covers will not have much damage, if any. They are well above average condition and usually have 1 very minor flaw - some that you might not even see. Definitely this RED gem is destined to be on a really prime vintage Eldorado~! Regarding damage - (#2310D2) - There isn't any. Wheel cover came from a car that had 40K original miles. The Outer Perimeter is excellent, no rash and no hammer dents. Shiny! The Spokes are excellent as well, all straight and true. The Outer Crown doesn't have any curb rashing or stone dings, and that's really good! The Center Face is excellent....strong and even coloring. GREAT shine! The Crimson Red decal is not peeling up at the outer sides, which usually is quite common for the age (46+ years old). The upper right wreath post hole has a slight raise in the decal, creating a slight water mark. The Cadillac Crest has been color restored and looks bold & beautiful. The Chrome Wreath is extremely shiny and not pitted at all. The polished areas of the wheel cover are very reflective. Overall this wheel cover is "Excellent" and should look incredible on your Eldorado. A rare survivor. If want the best used wheel cover in Saffron Red...this IS IT.
