1978 Yamaha YZ400 Cylinder & Matching Piston .75 Over 1W4-11311-01-00

Description: Please READ entire description. These are USED parts being sold in as is, as SEEN in the photos. NO returns on used electrical parts. This cylinder and matching piston assembly came off a 1978 DT400 seen in the last photo. This bike had a 1978 YZ400 engine installed. I personally rode this bike and tore it down. Last photos showed how the piston looked right when I pulled the cylinder. Piston is marked "75". Personally I would re-ring the piston and hone the cylinder prior to use. The only thing wrong that I can see is the exhaust studs are of different sizes. See pics. This engine did have a DT400 pipe mounted up to it and it sealed fine so once the correct YZ flange is installed, the YZ pipe will fit as well. I think one of the original studs may have snapped and it was drilled out and re-tapped for next larger size stud. It still worked fine. You need to make sure this is what you need before buying. Compare the provided oem part number first to be sure. Study all photos closely and ask all questions BEFORE you buy this. Again, there are no returns on used electrical parts. Make sure you are OK with this before you buy it. USED PARTS DISCLAIMER: I used to wonder why so many sellers had tons of information on their listings pertaining to returns, used parts, warranties etc. I now realize this was necessary to curb the amount of buyers out there who experience "buyers Remorse" and try to abuse the eBay buyer protection program by buying a part and then saying they are not happy with it for whatever reason and try to get some of their money back or in some cases all of it and then on top of that try to keep the item! I now have to make it perfectly clear as well. If I offer a used part for sale that has a return allowed, then it can be returned. If I say no returns, that means NO returns. You are buying these USED parts in AS IS condition. If you need further photos, further inspection, ohms tested or anything else, you need to make that perfectly clear BEFORE YOU BUY THE ITEM. If you know of a particular inherent problem with a certain item, then you need to bring it to my attention so I can look for that problem BEFORE YOU BUY IT. If I happened to miss the problem initially, while rare, that is not unusual for used parts. Most of you buyers are fully aware of this information and it is not a problem.
