Description: Offering this framed vintage program photo of Masane Tsukayama as Macbeth in the original 1980 production of Yukio Ninagawa's Macbeth. It has a nice, big marker autograph down the side. It is in a vintage lucite frame, but when you take it out and flip it over you can see it's on the reverse side of a flyer or leaflet for the play. That side also appears to be signed in pen, but I'm not sure if it's by the same actor or another member of the production. There is a small piece of tape on the lower margin of the page as shown to hold it to the mat. There is also normal display scuffing to the frame, but the grouping is otherwise in good condition and displays well. A revival of Ninagawa Macbeth played in New York recently to standing ovations; this is a great chance to own an early piece of the play's history. Measures about 11" x 9" framed.
