Description: For sale is a mid-1980s LUDWIG Rack Tom Shell only, no hardwares Has transitional Chicago keystone badge - used circa 1984-1985 before Ludwig moved to Monroe, NC Serial number: 3110317 Nice, heavy duty maple shell Extra deep: 13” diameter X 12” depth - great sounding drum because of the depth It used large classic lugs, 16 lugs total Original white cortex finish - now it’s in a cream color (contrast between under the lugs vs other area). Some scuffs on the cortex but this drum can use a re-wrap due to discoloration of light colored cortex. Besides the discoloration of the white cortex, the drum is in good shape. Rims are round and smooth, and wood is in good shape. Please look at pictures carefully. What you see is what you get. Item is sold as is, no returns. I’m parting this 80s set of mine (diameter x depth): 18x16 floor, 16x16 floor, 14x13 tom and 13x12 tom. I’m selling the hardwares separately as I’m using some for other drum sets I have.
