I personally removed it from a1983 LX with a V6. There is no ECM connected, so patching into a V8 should not be difficult.The 83 was a hatchback, while it did not have power windowsor locks, it did have cruise control, intermittent windshieldwipers and rear defrost.The plugs for the speedo cluster are present and ingood shape, no darkening from getting hot.The slide switch for the steering column is also there. It is my hope, that if you are reading this, you are familiar withFoxBody Mustangs and have a sense of what you are looking at.This harness will be ideal if you are dealing with just about anypre 1985 Mustang or Mercury Capri, and you have the misfortuneof a wiring harness so hacked up that it's nearly hopeless,or the misfortune of a wiring fire.
