Description: This is a very unique pop-up book! It is Hans Christian Andersen’s Thumbelina, written in Russian and accompanied by pop-up pictures with moveable parts. There are 9 full-page scenes, all in very good condition with mild wear from age. Note: there is some damage to the tab on the moving moon/sun slide picture, but it still works. The book was published in 1984 by Malysh. Again, all text is in Russian! The front and back covers are made of heavy paper, like the rest of the book. There is some wear to covers; bending to the cover corners, creases, scuffs, tearing near the spine, some discoloration/staining to the front cover, and a tear to the back cover.
