1988 Dynacomp Quality Software for Microsystems Catalog No. 33 (As-Is)

Description: Vintage 1988 Dynacomp Quality Software for Microsystems Catalog No. 33 (As-Is) Description Up for sale is a vintage Dynacomp Quality Software for Microsystems Catalog designated as No. 33 from what I believe to be 1988 (as the last year of copyright located on the inside of the cover page is 1988 (following the years 1983-1987 in succession). Anyways, this catalog was kept in an open tote storage crate for the past few years (or decades, I should say) which also contained several other computer software related catalogs & magazines (which I'm still in the process of listing up, so please be sure to check my store for those new listings). Since this crate was an open tote storage; it wound up getting a fair share of dust on it and also played host to a termite infestation which caused a considerable amount of damage to most of the catalogs that were in it (most of which I had no other choice but to throw out as they were beyond salvageable). This catalog, in particular, was also affected by those pesky termites and exhibits signs of damage brought on by those hungry little critters. The most visible damage appears on the front cover; located towards the bottom left area near the spline of this landscape oriented publication. You can clearly see that the burrowing of the termites left a circular type of cut along the lower left of the cover and there's also some additional damage that occurs on the top right area of the cover as well (which also seems to have been caused by termites as the shape of the damage looks to be more organic than anything man made). There's also a corner missing from the bottom right side as well; which was most likely caused by overall wear and not directly related to the termites themselves. The main pages of the publication may have also yellowed from overall age and general storage and also have holes scattered throughout them; again appearing as a result of this termite infestation. Some of these pages may also have some slightly bent corners located along the edges of the pages as well as some immediately visible crease marks and/or light signs of scuff marks to them. Overall, they're in pretty worn and distressed looking shape, considering the amount of wear that's on them; along with the baked in yellowing acquired from overall age and/or general storage. The most baked in of this yellowing occurs on the inside of the publication covers; as this type of cover appears to be made from card stock, whereas the pages themselves are more like newsprint, I believe; which tends to become very brittle over time and most of the loose bits that are on this publication appear to be flaking off like very loose debris. While this may not be the most sought after computer catalog out there, it is from the late eighties at least; which qualifies it as being vintage. I figure despite the obvious signs of cosmetic wear and termite damage that plagues this publication, it might still be of interest to any and all retro computer enthusiasts out there with a penchant for old computer catalogs or just about anybody that's into collecting vintage mail in publications such as this.
