Description: Here is a very nice lot of seven (7) 1990 Collegiate Collection trading cards commemorating the 1989 National Champion Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. To date, this is the last time the Irish won a National Championship. All cards are in Ex+++ or better condition, with bright, vibrant colors, no yellowing, and nice surfaces, corners, edges, and centering. All have some minor condition issues, but nothing major such as creases, rips, markings, etc. Lot includes cards #13 (Lou Holtz), #21 (Tony Rice), #25 the National Championship trophy, #48 (Team picture with opponent, final score, and attendance on the reverse), #74 (Fiesta Bowl, including stats on the reverse), #198 (Catholics vs Convicts), and #199 (ND vs USC, which was the final hurdle to the National Championship game.
