1998 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500

Description: We are retired and buy and sell things to help in retirement. As such, we hope you will come see the items for sale or request answers or pics to address any questions you may have. This time we bought from a public auction this Fleet maintained aviation fire suppression truck. This one owner fleet maintained 1998 Chevy Cheyenne 3500 4x4 with a 6.5 diesel and dual tanks has less than 34k original miles and shows little wear, absolutely no rust and runs and drives amazing. Truck is as purchased with all tanks, radio and emergency lights in place and functioning.The Amerex 150 lb Halon tank is fully charged and is sealed, tagged and in the middle of the green range on its gauge ready to use. The Halon fire tank, hose and nozzle alone retail over $15k and is sold with the truck at the listing price.Certification has expired but checking on cost to recertify runs $300-$900 and seems to vary greatly. There is a joy stick controlled nozzle in front of truck and a 100' fire hose reel with electric rewind also included to discharge AFFF or dry powder. A Ramsey winch and bumper are also included and look to have never been used. I say that since once used they never wind that tight and neatly again!! The Ramsey winch and bumber are valued at $4500. All lights, sirens and radios work and reading service bed is excellent with all doors working as new with keys. It is hard for us to believe how amazing the condition of this rig is and it really must be seen, heard and driven to appreciate. You could sell all the extras and have an awesome 4x4 diesel to restore as a regular truck. I see these as a regular truck $20-50K. Imagine what a newer one cost with this few miles.....$60k? We did note the tach is not working but have yet to diagnose the issue. Additionally, there is a small dent on the right fender but thats all we found. We are going to clean and buff paint hopefully by the end of this listing to see how clean she gets. Looking for a good home!!
