The 1999 Stanley Cup Finals patch is sewn into the right chest, next to the pro quality embroidered “Goathead” Buffalo Sabres crest. The CCM logo & NHL logo are embroidered on the bottom left back hem, matching game jerseys from the era. The fight strap is fully intact & sewn into the back of the jersey. Varada played arguably the best hockey of his career in 1998/99, helping lead the 7-seed Sabres on a Cinderella run that went to Double Overtime in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, where Brett Hull illegally entered the crease, cheating as a last resort to defeat the greatest goalie in NHL history.
