Dates approximately 1900/1930. In WONDERFUL restored condition. Superb inlaid box throughout. All the sides and top are inlaid with various fruitwood veneers and ebony. Several small repairs around the sides which is nothing, and a couple of small repairs on the inner lid. All the inlay to the top is complete. A highly unusual Sorrento box. Really lovely when you see it in front of you. I’M PRETTY SURE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. REALLY SUPERB COLOUR. Box retains the original long piano hinge. The two inner side compartments are ideal for bracelets or necklace. YOU ONLY GET THIS TYPE OF QUALITY FROM US. Comprising a wonderful interior that has been relined in expensive velvet material of the highest quality. The box can hold several rings in an upright position. All the added dividers within the box can easily be repositioned or removed if desired. Beneath the base of the box has also been lined in velvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.
