On the top of the battle scene, a legend appears which states, "A Tois les corpes bien nes que la patrie est chere" which means To the Well Born Corps that the Motherland is Dear. It is in very good condition for its age with age appropriate wear and patina. It measures 4 1/8" x 2 3/4" x 7/8" high.
