Description: Coin Silver Palmer & Bachelder's Boston, MA Set of 2 Teaspoons Palmer & Bachelders Boston, Massachusetts Silversmith The partnership of Palmer & Bachelders was formed in 1846 by Julius Palmer, Augutus Bachelder, Isaac Bachelder, and Josiah Bachelder. Palmer's son Jacob joined the partnership in 1856 thus creating Palmers & Bachelders. Later in 1864 more partners joined and the name was changed again to Palmer, Bachelder & Co which lasted until 1884. This information dates the spoons after Jacob joined the partnership but before more partners joined thus dating it from 1856-1863. Preowned antique teaspoons stamped withPalmer & Bachelderson the underside of the spoon. They have L.A.E. engraved in cursive letters on the top of the spoon handles. Some tarnish as to be expected. One of them has a tiny dent with the impact coming from the bottom showing through to the top of the base of the spoon.
