They are made of laminated cardboard. Each has a text on the back as well as a box for your own personal message. I will be happy to include 2 envelopes (with each set of 2 chosen) IF you ask me before I ship*(*If you don't ask for envelopes, I will not include them) These are sold "AS IS" and are in good, unused condition, however some designs may be more "yellowed" by age than others(they are over 40 years old!)
