Description: These are 2 rare dinner or luncheon size plates that are by Haviland Limoges and are one of the variations of the pattern called Feu de Four. What makes these quite rare is that they feature a gold scalloped edge with a 1/4" line of cobalt trimmed with gold. These even feature gold on the backside around the inner rim that sets on the table, which is very unusual. These feature a light pinkish toned poppy flower with a darker variant green for the leaves that goes quite well with the overall design. These 2 plates measure about 9 1/8" in diameter and this size at the replacement companies is calling a dinner plate but to me they are more of a luncheon size. These are in fantastic condition with no damage and no fading from age considering these are over 100 years old. You will get 2 plates as shown and I do offer option to a 2nd set of 2 in the same type of condition. Very hard to find in this color and absolutely beautiful. I package very carefully and am very experienced in packing. Buyer pays shipping with insurance included!
