Description: This is for 2 new sets of lovely bone china tea cups and saucers by ROYAL ALBERT of England. They are actually, decorated like old country roses, but in blue! Except for the smallest blush of pink on a blue rose here and there. So Royal Albert took their most famous and popular pattern, and turned it blue for those of us who love the color blue! And beautiful it is! The cup shape is named Montrose and they are faintly scalloped on the edges while the saucer has a more pronounced scallop. All edged in shiny gold! Made in England! The best! There is also gold on the handle and the cups’ foot is highlighted in gold. This pattern is called Blue Moonlight which first came out in 1987 according to royalalbertpatterns.com. The cup holds 6 ounces (3/4 cup) and is 3 & 1/2 inches in diameter, and is 2 & 7/8 inches tall. The saucer is 5 & 1/2 inches in diameter. This set is in excellent shape and even though it was packed away in its original plastic sleeves and never used, I still checked it out with a flashlight and there are no cracks, chips, or crazing.
